So he was. But he did score one world class goal against Man City, before setting fire to his career by punching Jose Fonte in training (who in hindsight quite possibly deserved a clump).

Gaston Ramirez, on the other hand, somehow got away with drawing a wage at Saints for three seasons whilst doing absolutely **** all. Plus he once sported the worst haircut in the history of professional sport, yet he is still regarded with affection by Saints fans.

Wasn't there a player at Saints called Francis Benali who despite the fact that he only ever played about 4 games for Saints still managed to mug an FA Cup Winners' Medal?

That the one that was recommended to Graeme Souness and it turned out he's basically never played and was hauled off after like 30 minutes?

That's Ali Dia. Phoned up Sounness pretending to be George Weah and recommended himself! <laugh>

Runners up medal. Barely played that season.
To be fair to him though, he did play about 400 games for Saints.
Pretty crap player, but a workhorse with a good attitude. Handy to have that in your squad.

I'd love to get Joey Barton and Roy Keane both pissed-up, lock them in a cupboard together with one knife, go back several hours later and see which one is still alive.

What was the name of the guy who Ferguson signed from Portugal who lived in a dustbin? He'd be a candidate. <ok>

Theo Walnut must have the syndrome too.

Whimpers about not getting selected for England but is happy about being a bit part players at Arsenal.

He has an amazing lack of ambition.
