Evening everyone :) I am finally heading back up to Newcastle for a few days in August, first time in several years. Mostly to visit family but thought I would take the opportunity to do a tour of SJP while I am there, seeing as Mr M is unlikely to ever be interested enough to take me (despite the fact I did the Anfield tour with him ...). I was going to book online, but wondering if I will be OK to book on the day?? Anyone know if this is a good/bad idea? Thank you :)

I would book beforehand to make certain they have tours while you are here.

Definitely book beforehand. Amazing experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it when I did it

Thank you. I went to book this evening and would you believe practically the only date in August on which there is no tour available is the only date I could do :emoticon-0106-cryin

You could always try writing to the club and telling them you're a lifelong supporter who hardly ever gets back to Newcastle and how much you were looking forward to a stadium tour. It probably won't do any good, but every now and again they will surprise us with gestures of goodwill. The worst that could happen is that they don't reply or say no.

I'd check with the restaurant there. On a Sunday I went for dinner and then they followed that with a quick tour. The food was nice too
