Last away game of the season thank God Many new away grounds taken in this season - highlights include fish & chips for £4 in Blackpool, the Coronation St setting at Fleetwood, winning with ten men at Bolton and seeing the Fire Disaster memorial at Bradford. Some lively hostility off the pitch too, with 4 police officers struggling to control the fighting at Bury, the fisticuffs at full time at Gillingham, plus the routine 40 min lock in at Millwall. Away highlights few and far between - Lookman's classy finish at MK Dons, the pitch invasion and @baraettmattesvensson drunken antics at Northampton, Slade getting a heroes response at full time at Walsall, and Crofts last min equaliser at Southend. And that's about it. Despite everything, still love suppporting the old Charlton, and nothing beats the buzz of following them away from home. Thoughts on tomorrow ?
Is the season not over yet? Reckon we will pick up a win and people will be wetting themselves at KR winning two on the bounce. 1-2
They are down.... we are safe..... 2-0 home win Gobinson post match ..... "I can't complain the boys gave me 100% today and we controlled the game.... their only two shorts on goal were deflections .... we were the better team and should have won"
The only thoughts I have on tomorrow is the crawl that we will be going on. My protests at Northampton were not antics!
No idea, my walk-in wardbrobe is overloaded with wonderful attire. I shall be wearing my Duchatelet/Meire puppet t-shirt though
You aren't actually going to wear that in public are you? You are one of top contributors to Charlton being top of the worst dressed fans league.
£2 t-shirt from Primark and £10 to have it put on. Anybody brave enough to say hello to the Elf, I will gladly pose for them.
Taking a picture of you in your card shirt is the only thing I'd rather do less than go to Chesterfield this Saturday.
