The bank's pretty much gone, courtesy of a JCB attack last night...

These ****s are getting all over now. They're from round near me, they've been doing em round here for months. **** knows how they keep getting away with it, it's ridiculous. They must have done at least 10 now, including the one in my town.

    They're gyppos.

****, let's hope they re instate the fascia quicker than they have done in North Cave!!

That's a heavily populated area - how does nobody hear the noise that this kind of robbery makes, let's be honest, it doesn't look like a quiet job.

It's been nearly five years and it's ridiculous that it's still boarded up, exactly as it was the day after the robbery.

Mind you, as it's HSBC they may well have recommended to one of their clients that they rob the place.

Exactly, I think the property was rented by HSBC - it may even belong to the solicitor who owns next door, though he doesn't work from that office now.

"They must have driven into the bank around 10 or 20 times and the noise was horrendous."

Bankers, Solicitors, Bank Robbers - the Caves are full of the criminal fraternity.

The ones they did round me were all just one or two hits (literally) and amazingly, they woke nobody up with any of them, despite them being in populated areas like this one in South cave.

Until this one though, they have all been coop cash points, which means this is either a copycat robbery, or the theory that the cashpoints coops use are faulty is flawed.

Cash points are supposed to leak ink all over the cash at the slightest sign of tampering.

You know a suspiciously large amount about these crimes.

Ha...kick em (HSBC) while they're down.

Bonus for the staff...a day off and they don't get threatened by robbers!

Doesn't the Chief Constable live 50 yards down the road?

I think HSBC had already closed that branch, it was cash machine only & after the robbery they decided not to put one back there especially as it was a rented property.

HSBC will probably look at this & decide the branch is no longer financially viable to keep secure & close it

Reminds me of that armed robbery in that Jewellers in Bev last summer.

Think they had a bit of trouble getting away on the one way system.

That was a proper job though. This seems amateurish.

Anyway any excuse for a bit of the Clash
