Ex City youngster got MOM for L2 Plymouth's excellent draw in the FA Cup vs Liverpool I quote BBC "Sonny Bradley made the most clearances (14) and most blocks (4) of any player in the game" One that got away or found his level?
We could do with him now with our injuries and CHs getting on in years. He's a big lad, and if you can shut out arguably the best attack in the Prem, albeit with some younger players in their line up, you're doing a very good job. Him and Harry (Harry and Sonny) would be a physically awesome duo back there. Next year maybe??? Take a look Marco.
I find it interesting that this post has 3 likes. Are there really four different City fans with experience of Sonny Bradley being a complete dick? Weird.
I always thought he looked decent for the reserves and would be able to make the step up to league football, him and cooper played CB together quite a bit from memory an always looked pretty assured. Fair play to him for carving out a career in the lower leagues (he played for Crawley and Pompey too), he's done better than Danny East (who's now playing non league for Guiseley) who had a couple of games in the first team around the same time as Sonny. However along with the tweet, I remember there was some rumour going around that he'd done something stupid, was particuarly arrogant etc.
He allegedly acted the **** on social media and also allegedly in a well known city centre nightclub. My overriding impression at the time - though I forget the specifics - was that he was a jumped up little twat.
Pretty sure it was after taking some stick on Facebook.. something along the lines of "You mugs just keep buying hotdogs and pies in the stadium for our bonuses" I could be wrong though.
Like Sonny, I'd like to claim that my posts on that thread were a result of my account being hacked. I didn't remember any of this, but that was shocking, yet for some reason I thought it was OK at the time.
Like many other players who drop down the leagues, he's found his level. He might make Championship if he's lucky.
I used to known Sonny through mutual friends. He wasn't the nicest That surprised me too when checking back. Almost as bad as him claiming the FB account wasn't his.
Had to laugh at a commentator having a chuckle on talksport at good 'old fashioned' defenders tricks on a young Liverpool forward, included pulling his armpit hair and then tweaking his ear
