Not sure who I want as manager out of those being mentioned, just glad to see the back of dour dave. I hope whoever we get in we do it sooner rather than later so they can start taking the team apart and putting it back together in time for the start of the season. Obviously whoever comes in has to show they can manage us on a tight budget, but to my mind it's just as important that they get the team playing with a bit of pride and passion again and just generally give the club a lift. I woudn't be too concerned if we go for an inexperienced manager as I don't see any of the more established ones in the running as being a particularly great option.
Derek McInnes is now 6/4 favourite on Sky bet. Must confess I know sweet Fanny Adam about this fella because I don't follow Scottish football. Anyone know anything about him?
The bloke has did ok at Aberdeen but that's Scotland tho. I just can't see it happening but you'll never know with Sunderland.
Wagner for me, watched a lot of them this season and actually going to the play off final on Monday. I hope they go up as they deserve it but for selfish reasons if they don't I'd love this guy at Sunderland
If Huddersfield don't go up there's apparently quite a bit of interest in the Bundesliga for him so I think he'll be off there. He would be my ideal choice as well.
Boro get Pearson they'll win the league We appoint Derek McInnes well finish in the bottom 3rd of the league. These appointments are a statement of intent, we'll see what Short and Bain's ambitions are with this appointment. Right now I'm absolutely terrified that the entire hierarchy of our club are incompetent and are going to hire a turkey
Our search is made more difficult by the fact Palace, Boro, Hull and now Leeds looking for a new manager. All can potentially offer more in terms of transfer budget and even wages. We could be as low as 5th in the pecking order.
Would be my choice as well, but I can't see him moving anywhere atm. That's why I went for Pearson. Not keen on any of the others in the frame, but you never know, life's full of surprises.
