Daglish in on the brink of being sacked. Would you prefer to have kept him or the way it's played out with Rogers?
hmmmmmm. i'd personally say i'd rather that **** rogers never darkened our door personally but in the end kenny own the league cup to be the only LFC manager to ever win all three domestic trophies as a manager.
overall. i rally don't know what kenny would have done with the team cos frankly his signings were odd and probably were too old school so i really dunno. We are where we are now with klopp i suppose as a result.
I wanted Dalglish to be kept on at the time and haven't changed my view. As mito says he did make some odd signings but that was sort of to be expected as he'd been out of management for a good while. We'll never know what might have been and in reality he himself probably wouldn't have wanted to be kept on long term, nevertheless, the man that replaced him wasn't a good choice.
Can't say I'm bothered, it is what it is. Where Kenny might have taken us is open to any amount of speculation, but that's all it is. My own opinion is that - club legend though he always will be, Kenny was too old-school for the modern game.
It could be that nipping it in the bud left kenny going out on sort of a high, people wanting more and his status as legend preserved. He is as i said the only manager to win all 3 domestic trophies for LFC. was it right the way it was done... no. was it right in being done... probably. was the next man in right god no. but thats all hindsight as said above. We are where we are, we have a few things happening that are improvements like the new training facility and the new main stand and hopefully someone will have the balls to build the anfield road end for 60k not some miserable number and in the end thats decent from where we were.
If we are playing 'what ifs' I wonder how a fully fit Andy Carroll and Luis would have worked out. Downing might have had some success with crosses if Carroll was playing regularly. Kenny obviously had a plan for them but because of injuries it never panned out...
I thought it was more or less an either/or question, didn't know we were meant to go all Jeffrey Archer on it.
There was no poll so I guessed maybe he was looking for a bit more imagination in our responses than we managed to muster
Sorry man but it's a pointless question What happened happened, no point getting into it again and turning over the past. Just be in the present
Keep Kenny, Rodgers took spirit out of the club I didn't recognise that team anymore as a Liverpool team. If you get what I mean?
I love how history has been re-wrote, Rodgers gave you one of the best seasons you have ever had. I remember how this board thrived with the scintillating football where you were battering teams and winning by scoring lots of goals. Many described it at the best season they have ever watched. Brod made a mess of it all in the end but that season, no one could argue wasn't magical (minus slippys slip followed by crystanbul)
