Being shoved Inter (arf) the frame for another job: http://www.football-italia.net/100929/inter-restart-coach-search
When I was in Italy for a few weeks in 2010 Inter was in Milan and Napoli was in Naples. Two Rome teams were Roma and Lazio. Do you mean 'in Italy' rather than in 'Rome'.
This morning HDM are saying we have an option if we stay up to extend his contract by 1 year. We need to focus on staying up first
It seems the initial rumours of a 12 month option in the event of survival were accurate. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull...-next-season/story-30261492-detail/story.html
He certainly doesn't seem to have a habit of staying long at clubs, particularly if he has had success. Seems to take the view, if you have done well then leave at the top, rather than stay and tarnish your reputation.
It's a good approach to be fair. Like it or not, we're absolutely nothing more than a stepping-stone for him - he wanted to be put in the PL shop window and he has taken the opportunity and then some. The next time any manager is sacked from a bottom half team he will definitely be in the frame.
I think the way managers are sacked these days, he is smart enough to try and stay ahead of the game and keep moving.
He gives the impression he doesn't tolerate bollocks and incompetence. I imagine he will have now formed an accurate impression of the malevolent and eccentric incompetents who 'run' our club. So on his way to WHU?
Indeed and others could learn from him. It's not hindsight in any way, Wenger should've quit as soon as they beat us in the cup final. He'd have left a winner and restored all the good opinion of him but his arrogance led him to believe he could win the title.
Even if - a big if - a contract is triggered in our favour he's shown in the past that he doesn't give two ****s about a contract. I'd love him to be here at Christmas, but I just cant see it.
For some reason, I think he will stay next season, but then move on to another club at the end of that season. I'm calling Arsenal, as Wenger will probably stay for one more year IMHO.
Me neither, but likely the will take up the option and if someone comes in for him Ehaw will be looking for a big buy out fee.
Silva left Olympiakos to manage in the PL, I can't see him walking out on City mid-season. He didn't leave Estoril mid-season did he? Doesn't strike me as someone to just walk out on a club mid-season. If he didn't have ANY intention of being here I doubt he'd be that bothered about contracts for next season.
