The main difference is he's probably just got worse defensively, or maybe he's been given more defensive duties and hasn't been up to it? But he's never going to be a huge attacking threat at a higher level in my opinion. Probably looks amazing against a third tier team in a cup game, but better defenders aren't as worried.
Not sure a bigger club will take a punt on him after a five month sample. Pochettino was at soton for another season or so.
Just been reading the views of Everton fans on Grandoldteam.com I know they are in form and we've got a **** away form but the majority of them seem to think they will beat us between 4-0 and 7-0. For God's sake there only Everton but sound more like Arsenal fans
Everton are one of those clubs who are part of the PL furniture, just like they were in the old Div 1. Massive tradition and history, a proper football club - the type of club we have been wanting to play on a level footing for most of our lives. They have it all. Not a **** magnet like their neighbours or Arsenal, and not run by foreign tycoons on an ego trip. That said, we owe these a beating. They have a fringe of gobby buffoons who seem to think that we are not worthy of gracing the Goodison turf. How so? Beaten them twice here, drawn twice and lost only once in the league since 2008. Not done well there -lost 3 drawn 1. We're due a win there. Don't ask me how we'll do it. Maybe the ball domination we saw at AFC, MUFC and CFC can be repeated, but we need to be clinical in front of goal and 100% focused. Any bollocks from Markovic and Elmohamedy, and we've lost. We need Grosicki to cross it proper and we need decent free kicks. No slow starts. we need to be at it from Minute One (shakes clenched fist). Remember the golden rule: they do not like it up em.
We should have had all 3pts at home, we were sloppy. We need to up our pace and attack them. 3 points this time.
