What do you get for that?

I had the full package which was about £80. Then BT wanted 20 odd quid for HD, etc...so was coming to about £100.

Yeah, I just don't like feeling like i'm paying too much.

    Sky are crap for this!

£1200.00 a year for a bit of sport just doesn't stack up.

    I'd rather go fishing!

I don't watch sport on tv much nowadays.

A few mates will offer me round for the big game and that's about it - occasional MOTD.

    Cricket highlights on 5.

    6 nations.

    Bout it.

I don't own a TV. I haven't sat and watched TV regularly for years. I watch the news on BBC news channel and footie on live streams. I watch DVD's and Netflix with my daughter on the Laptop and that's about it. I would not ever dream of paying £50+pcm for TV channels

Do you have subscriptions to live streams?

I used to stream but got sick of the quality. Had a box thing for footie

Am not averse to paying but its like going to matches simply can't justify spending that much with kids and what I can use the money for.

Last time I took my lads was for a cup game and it was hundreds of pounds all in for 4 of us. Could have had a weekend away with family for a little more

    Cheers!

I'm waiting to see if they customise the whole thing. The only bit I'm really interested in is Sports. Everything else I can get via FTA tv or IPTV.

It's just the sports channels can be a little unstable at times. We don't currently have Fibre here yet.

I wouldn't bother with TV if it wasn't for the family.

Only have the phone because it makes it cheaper, I don't even own a landline phone to plug in!

Only thing I want is Internet. Can watch anything using that ;-)

Sky are dry humping me, I need to give them the "I'm leaving" call again, but I haven't yet summoned up the energy as the weary ****ers in the specialist dept designed to keep you on board do my swede in.

It's on the list......the same list as my mountain biking <laugh>

Good man, when I lived in blighty I had four TV's...Why? i never ever watched anything. Ok my late wife used to watch the obvious girlie programmes but if I ever wanted or needed to catch up with anything its was on my PC. That way I controlled my life and not those fcukers.

Ps. the only thing I watched off the BBC over the last three years was Dr Who.....don't judge me.

    **** that....the Devil's playground...just like App phones.

My ex used to have 3 tv's in her house, it used to trouble me that my boy is growing up in a place that reminds me of Dixons.

We were told as kids to never talk to strangers. however we allow our kids to be raised by strangers on the Tv..telling them how to express themselves, trouble mongering with the bad messages they send through innocent looking kiddie programmes. The ones aimed at Teenagers are ****ing terrible..no wonder we live in a flimsy society where arseholes think saying 'Yayy' is cool..and young men are effeminate and the women are wearing the trousers.

I choose who talks to my kids.

    **** TV...Viva Revolution

    Rant.

Or maybe it's just TV and doesn't really matter?

"women are wearing the trousers." Mrs luv is the big earner, wouldn't say she wears the trousers though.
