It's not the colour specifically, it's the gay people that drive them.

You see, they are very womanly, so obviously share traits with the woman. We all know what happens when you put a woman behind a steering wheel...

You compile cryptic crossword clues, right Tickles?

    This is a good one.

    I've got it though.

    Digging up Noah's Ark.

    Correct, yes?

Sadly no. But a good try. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Silver grey or a metallic blue is my choice of car colour.

As for women driving cars some need to master the doom buggy first.

Think you will find that that ship will be used for maintainence work ,or site survey, rather than windfarm construction. They tend to be more this size seajac.jpeg

Aww, well if you're not using it as a cryptic clue, then I'm bagging it.

Often compile one for the Times Of India.

Try looking at deep sea container ships for beasts like. (7,2,5,3)

Try looking at deep sea is Spade.

Container ships for beasts is Noah's Ark.

Like a spade is what you do with it, hence digging up.

They'll ponder that one in Mumbai, I tells ya.

That surprises me. I thought they'd go for something with a prop in the water rather than a swamp buggy design. Needs a cage around the prop though, someone will have their fingers in that when gets going full pelt.

re the 'blade', does anyone know:
    1. is it a real one or just made up to exhibit?
    2. if it's real is it just one half of the complete span?

    Depends which the wind blows!
Wind turbines are useless for power generation, anyway, as those erected in Wales are demonstrating on a daily basis.
Average wind speed in the Betws area today was 5 mph, so the derelict and useless turbines cannot be started and are producing nothing. The same is true today all over mainland Wales and most of England and Scotland. So the entire wind turbine industry is at a standstill in the middle of winter. Power generation still depends to a large extent on gas, coal and nuclear. Hydro is 2.0%, completely negligible. (I would say that this is a symptom of a contemporary disease, a fictitious government that cannot face scientific reality and exists in a propagandist haze; but I won't say it, as that would be deemed 'political').

    1. Real.
    2. Yes, half. The other half is twisted the other way, so that the two blades co-rotate when their common axis points into the wind.

Its only a **** off big wind turbine blade that symbolises Hulls manufacturing future, so watt!
Onshore wind turbines only generate subsidised income. They otherwise would not make any money.
I have had to research them and it is staggering how in terms of effective generating hours, more is wasted as we have no need for the energy theyou produce.

That is also true. Like the man-made global warming hoax, all of the renewable-energy nonsense is a giant scam throwing huge amounts of money at a handful of major manufacturing companies.

The man-made global-warming stuff may already be there, but I can't be arsed to look.

Last year £53 million was paid to wind farmers to turn OFF their turbines... this cost is a subsidy placed on every electricity bill!!!

The radius (i.e. length of this one blade) is obviously one half of the tip-to-tip diameter of the turbine.
