Roberto Mancini won't sell or loan Shay Given to another Premier League team, especially one thats challenging them ;-))

 

If think a loan move is a possability. If we cant get it wrapped by tommorow i reckon Ricardo will come in

 

I dont think its going to happen if im honest. It sounds like he wants to come but mancini keeps changing. Im told that in peterborough word has it that we will sign joe lewis.

 

Joe Lewis has been very poor every time i have seen him and i dont think he is an improvement on Weale

 

This has been going on for weeks. Given apparently said that he was willing to drop a division before the transfer window opened and Sven was on the phone the next day. We have made approaches and now that it's hit the press that Given is willing to come here I'd say it's fair to assume that both parties are interested. But it looks as though the papers are right for once when they say that man city, whether it be Mancini or the board, are not willing to sanction the move, otherwise this would have happened weeks ago.

Your right lewis is no improvement aprt from the fact hes younger. He is prone to mistakes, a good shot stopper, doesmt command enough and has poor distribution, which isnt too different to weale
