    Well, I decided I was going down the pub, so left at about 80 minutes to go and catch the bus - I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the final score. Gordon should go down as an 'assist' for Ox's goal and should have come for the ball from which 'Arry equalised. As for Scotland's goals, for England to concede 2 free kicks on the edge of the box in such a short space of time is criminal and Southgate really needs to up his game if England are to become a force in World football. Yes, they'll probably qualify for the finals, but unless there's a MASSIVE change, then I don't see them progressing beyond the group stage. <yikes>

    You're lucky FLM, I was working last night, and it was on in the shop. I have no control over what is shown on the screens, so had to suffer it. I couldn't even turn the sound down, as it would mess up the other tvs in the shop.

    Anybody else watch Argentina vs England in the rugby last night? Amazing game, and it's probably all on iPlayer if you haven't seen it yet!

    After about ten minutes, I started streaming the cricket to my phone, half the pub was trying to watch it instead of the football, then the bloody rain came and we sort of started trying to watch the football again, England were unsurprisingly dire. What I want to know is, why on earth did the FA give the job to Southgate? Hardly any managerial experience and proved very little lets give him the job! Don't get me wrong, if experienced international managers can fail and formerly the best of British then we might as well fail more cheaply!
    That game stank of our players already mentally having gone to the beach and the Jocks not only being more motivated by taking the English scalp but needing the points more than we did.
    I'm never watching England again!...........well at least til the next game at any rate, I'll never learn!

    Bah!

    ...If they can't get up for a derby type game like Away to Scotland, then when will they show some passion and class? I really thought they would step up enough to win. I thought the performance would be a bit of a stinker, as usual, but I wasn't expecting that!
