^^ Lives in south Lanarkshire and thinks he's got an expensive house
Aye we have lovely buildings and natural beauty. Much to admire in that.
Starving pensioners and the one of the highest infant mortality rates in Europe not so much.
North Lanarkshire *
We're just hivin a laff, Trev, there's nae need tae accuse sumbdy of livin in Southie. You take things too far sometimes.
He's not a very nice chap that one.
Well if it's in the telegraph from eight years ago who can argue.
World's fourth most admired state ( state, really?) eight years ago. Red arrows must be due a fly-over.
I think you'll find that we have some of the most well kept pensioners in the world and I would argue, they are (mostly) too well looked after with the "triple lock" pension and many pensioners sitting in houses worth hundreds of thousands of pounds that they bought for pennies.
As for the infant mortality rate, don't really get the point. We are mid ranking in EU terms, and most countries are very close together (EU rate is 4 per 1000 and UK is 4.3 per 1000).
The point is valid that the UK is a highly admired State. We are rich and powerful.
Lochrie bringing out the big guns here that the yes men just can't fathom, aka facts
America came top Barrie.....
We also live on the best planet in the solar system...why complain at all?
