Yeah but which thread? It's a good talking point is Jose right to lay into Shaw and Smalling? Klopp was a bit more subtle about it with Sturridge but he said the same thing. A player doesn't have to be 100% fit to play.
I'm hoping it's to coerce a positive reaction from them so we'll find out soon enough. Then truth is that if both cried off with a bit of 'discomfort' then they are letting the side down, simple. No doubt they need to be able to play through this, it's fortunate we were playing Swansea and it made no difference. Shaw needs to just keep quiet on it too, get on with getting back to full fitness. He's got a decent future at United, or should have. Smalling will be replaced with someone in the January window anyway.
My original post was posing the question as to whether he was right to call them out in public or should our laundry be done behind closed doors. Under the circumstances I was going to give Jose the benefit of the doubt in the hope that they would show some positive reaction. Who knows, this may have been the most recent of a series of incidents where they have cried off 'injured' and Jose had tied everything else to date and decided on a public 'outing'.
He's questioning everything at the club now from pre season to medical staff (not sure there were quotes though)If he feels he needs to change everything then it's a long road.
But it's true mate. Sources say he is arriving at Carrington in the morning in a white suit, stand on the balcony with an AK47 before shouting "Say hello to my little friend" and showering everyone with bullets. It'll be epic.
I was really disappointed to read how confused the players were about him not being involved with training. Having seen the regular pics of training on the United site it would confuse me too, I would wonder who that guy that looks like Jose is and why he is at every session.
