Well on the match thread literally nobody said that (just checked), and those who named their MOTD's chose Cedric, Stephens or Gabbiadini. So yeah. But nobody also commented he was particularly bad, so I guess nobody noticed him either way. In the second match people noticed that he fell asleep for the WHU's first goals and that he wasn't joining in to celebrate victory. One average and one poorish performance, on top of a series of similar performances last season.
Anyone know what the fee is for Gazza? We paid over the odds for him originally but I would guess some of the fee wasn't paid due to clauses. Saw £2m on one news article.

Just didn't work for Gazza here or he isn't good enough for us....delete as appropriate. Poch must see something in him....no one could predict him getting a move to Spurs. Wrong to link him to Forecast (although I recognise that's in jest)....Paulo tried and had a good attitude. Good luck for his future.
Fine. I can't be bothered to argue the point, but having been to both matches I think dropping someone off the back of one good performance and one slightly below average performance is ridiculous. You disagree. That's your prerogative.
Always thought there's the potential to be a good keeper in his locker. Perhaps what he needs more than MP's faith is first team football. Good luck to him though. (the curse of forecast will now strike & Gazza will be world No1 in 18mths)
He'll be 26 in January and has just joined Spurs as their third choice keeper. Seems unlikely he'll ever be a very good keeper. He currently appears more likely to follow Stuart Taylor's career path.
It's perfectly possible for a player to play really well yet not be in the best 3 or 4. The thing with Bertrand is that he is an intelligent player, and even when he's not playing at his best he's usually better than whoever else we have.
The biggest problem for me is attacking midfield. We need someone behind the strikers of better quality. Putting Davis there is no good as he cannot shoot. JWP is not incisive at all and also cannot shoot in open play. Tadic plays his best out wide. That leaves boufel who everybody appears to have given up with already. This is the missing piece in a season that could go well or quite badly.
Just don't think we've seen enough of boufal yet. I'm not going to give him 3 years like gaston. Do feel he would be better in the centre.
