Romeu always seems more down to earth than the average footballer. posting about books, history, him walking his dogs through muddy fields.
he seems to enjoy the simple things in life. I even think he might just be that one player to realise he would be happier playing every match for us here, enjoying his football, and not get his head turned by money. please.

 

Stoke at home or United at home?

 

Utd is on TV so Stoke for us up here in the Midlands

 

I'm sure he said recently that Saints were the best thing since paella.

 

Might be able to afford both yet but looking unlikely so need to decide which I go to.

I remember this moment very well indeed. When I saw it live, I remember that James Milner tried to cross the ball but ran into a brick wall. That was Oriol. For their pains they both slid into the advertising. Romeu got straight up and walked back into position. Milner sat on the path off the pitch looking at the retreating Romeu and wincing because he'd got almost nothing for his efforts other than a crunch from Oriol. Yes, he'd got a corner, but that was instantly cleared. When I watch the game or highlights again, this is one of the great moments I look out for. Maya and Jack Stephens rightly get credit for keeping Liverpool out, but Romeu was magnificent in front of them and protecting them.

 

10 years today that we lost the legend who was Alan Ball

 

Vote for player of the year. Went for Romeu as he is not only the business, he has played most of the season.

 

Tough choice between Lloyd Isgrove, Jeremy Pied, Olufela Olomola really.

 

Can I still vote for Iago Falque?

 

Jonathan Forte for me, ever since the MK Dons match.

Without those two goals we'd not have made the League Cup final this season

 

Shane Long needed to be Jonno-quick to get on the end of Josh Sims' pass at Anfield, for certain sure.

 

Just watched the 2nd half again. Couldn't resist.

 

I just watched the goal. Still not wearing off.

RIP Alan Ball...........Certainly was a legend............

 

One of the best one touch players, ever.

 

I think I'd say the original one touch player. Awesome.
