Funny that it says he caught their eye winning the euros when there was a similar article last season saying Barcelona were interested! Think we can file this under BS.
We have two games outstanding, still have the Arsenal game to be sorted yet. https://www.premierleague.com/fixtures
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-zed/southampton-star-nathan-redmond-reveals-9862265 Oh dear. Eric Black took a selfie of himself blowing a kiss to his wife in front of a mirror with a heart drawn on it. He meant to send it to her, but accidently sent it to the whole squad.
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/matt-le-tissier-lazy-b-9910858 A slightly bitter piece from Jimmy Steele who played in '76....the reason why I have hidden it away from the happy thread. There are some good stories in it though.
I think he has point regarding the lack on Invitation. I'm calling bs on the paper for inflating his opinions of Le Tiss and Benali.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...NT__Is_this_Claude_s_redemption_day_/?ref=mac Fair evaluation of Puel's first season....up and down, with occasional good results (just to confuse us). The League Cup run (and hopefully win ) has made all the difference to how he is viewed. I have amore positive view of Puel....his tactics produced many games where we should have won, but failed to convert our many chances. A manager can only field a side that controls the game and gets chances....he can't put the ball in the net. He needed a goal scorer and we now have one. Let him keep his players and be judged next season.
Charlie Austin on Sky talking about his bone graft from hip to shoulder. Still 7 weeks to go, but started running a couple of weeks ago. What a day to miss, Charlie.
