    I know the difference, it's the children of economic migrants who've committed most, if not all, the atrocities perpetrated in the name of Islam in the UK. Refugees displaced by bombings in the Middle East in the recent past haven't committed any.

    Amazing isn't it that it didn't come up as I got As at GCSE and A-level in modern British and European history 1812-1945.

    Did people bombed by the Germans flock to Germany after the war? Did Germans flock to the UK, the US and the USSR after the war? Is deciding the place you want to be is the country which bombed you a recent phenomenon?
    Most immigrants making great efforts to get to countries thousands of miles away are economic migrants not refugees.
    Would you look for refuge in the country which had oppressed you?
    Comparisons with Nazi Germany are ludicrous. The Jews had been there for a long, long, time and weren't recent immigrants. There were only 600,000 of them in a population of 60,000,000.

    The assertion that 'we welcomed them for fifty years' is in itself bollocks anyway, most people in the UK never wanted them here and racial tolerance is a fairly recent phenomenon, we've come a long way since the 70's.

    The death toll is now five (or as Jason Manford just tweeted 'four people and one murdering ****')

    There are currently 29 injured and 7 in critical condition.

    It's been confirmed that the attacker was a British born Muslim arsewipe, already known to M15 and believed to have been acting alone.

    The car was hired from Enterprise car hire in Solihull (three of those arrested were in a flat raided late last night in Solihull).
