oh course snodgrass would be better off - that isn't really an issue - he'd be playing in the prem...on more money, against better players - and regardless of whether norwich stay up or not, putting himself in a whole new shop window. career wise its a no brainer... if we did come back down, i cant imagine he'd stay - he's premier league...meaning he would still be in a better position than he is currently...

Clubs continually go after all sorts of players. Leeds are one of the few clubs that tells other clubs where to stick their offers, which often aren't enough.

Also, all it takes is to not quite fit in properly at Norwich and have one bad season and his career is ****ed, as you wouldn't be able to sell him to another PL club and he'd be back at the Championship level, with a team he doesn't gel with. Not to say a move to a PL club eventually isn't the best course for him, it is. Just there's a factor of moving too fast. If an established PL club offered then it would be a no brainer. For Norwich? Not so much.

And for the record, we are always linked with moves in and out all over the place in every transfer window. It's one of the unfortunate side effects of being a famous club.

It's laughable that you STILL think being in the premier league automatically gives you THAT much more pulling power, even though there have been several players who have snubbed offers from premier league sides to play for Leeds. Gradel and Schmeichel so far, Snodgrass is no different.

It's even more laughable that you STILL think you'll get Snodgrass, when I'm pretty sure Lambert won't even offer £5 mill, let alone £5 mill + a player.
