It's all about consistency. Klopp has consistently lost every final he has managed for the past five years
Jeez, is that how far down the barrel your lot have to scrape now? And I thought Mourinho was taking the piss a bit by calling the Community Shield a trophy
Nope, not at all, was merely replying to you counting our defeat in a friendly tournament final in Germany to a real cup comp.
Nonsense. They'll walk it 5-0 or 6-0 on aggregate . That German team has never even played in the European competitions before. And the RS feel (and ought to feel) that they are already through and as usual prepare for the next stage.
Neymar says that he wanted a bigger challenge and it was never about money. Then he should have gone to West Ham instead of a team that's guaranteed to win the league. Insane market!
Of course, he is talking out of his arse. PSG could leave him at home and still qualify for the CL each season - that leaves the CL proper which he is well accustomed to playing in, even if Barca had not done well in the last two seasons. He's having a laugh if he thinks that PSG have a better chance of winning the CL just because he is in the side
Diego Maradona decides to come out of retirement and play for Chelsea, he goes into the changing room to find all his team mates looking a bit glum. "What's up?" He asks. "Well, we're having trouble getting motivated for this game. We know it's important but it's only Liverpool. They're **** and we can't be bothered". Maradona looks at them and says "Well I know I'm a bit fat and old, but I reckon I can beat them by myself, you lads go down the pub." So Maradona goes out to play Liverpool by himself and the rest of the Chelsea team go off for a few beers. After a few pints they wonder how the game is going, so they get the landlord to put the TV on. A big cheer goes up as the screen shows "Chelsea 1 (Maradona 10 minutes) – Liverpool 0 He is beating Liverpool all by himself! Anyway, a few more beers later and the game is forgotten until someone remembers "It must be full time now, let's see how he got on" They put the TV on. "Result from Stamford Bridge: Chelsea 1 (Maradona 10 minutes) – Liverpool 1 (Sturridge 89 minutes) They can't believe it, he has single handed got a draw against Liverpool! They rush back to the Stadium to congratulate him. They find him in the dressing room, still in his gear, sat with his head in his hands. He refuses to look at them. "I've let you down I've let you down" "Don't be stupid Diego, you got a draw against Liverpool all by yourself. And they only scored at the very very end!" Maradonna says "No, No, I have, I've let you down!. I got sent off after 12 minutes!"
How far and how fast will they slide if they keep him, now he's stated he wants out? Hardly good for morale or his performance if he stays. Reckon they might need to sell him asap and try and use the money to get Keita and VVD before the window closes. It'll be interesting to see if he plays on Tuesday as well - if he refuses to be cup tied then it means he really wants out. Will Liverpool risk missing out on the group stages just for the sake of digging their heels in?
Liverpool would be stupid to not take that kind of money. I believe they know that he's already gone. But they want to get as much as possible for him. If they try to keep him for one more season, he may end not getting the same amount for him next year. That cup game next week will be interesting though.
