Come and glamp out on our board, it's lush. And nice and quiet. Rather than the cluttered mess of yours. Get it? Never mind. Coat duly grabbed.
An Italian magazine has voted this as the worst 20 odd seconds of football ever played - QPR Vs Man City in 1993
I googled glamping. Not much glamping at Talacre beach It's pretty quiet over on ours at the moment, considering all the signings we've been making
Give a scouser a fish, and he can eat for a day. Give him a fishing rod and he'll put it in your letterbox and nick your car keys.
(From Facebook) - 'Did you know? Rooney left Everton, got married, cheated, had 3 kids, played in 3 World Cups, won 16 trophies, went bald, had a hair transplant, became United's highest goal scorer, returned to Everton without Arsenal ever winning the EPL?'
Well it seems Klopp is now telling the scousers yes they can dare to dream and this is their year. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ss-Klopp-wants-fans-dream-Premier-League.html.
That is why we've had generations of RS fans being deluded, thinking year after year they are ready to win that first premiership title. These managers should know better than to lead their gullible fans by the nose. After nearly 30 years of trying, they are no nearer to that holy grail of theirs. We all remember when Kloppyflop was appointed. It was like nothing we had seen before. It was like Christmas had arrived early on the deluded red part of Merseyside. Don't we all remember when every deluded on the RS board changed their names to Klopp to celebrate the arrival of the Messiah? Now one by one they are dropping Kloppyflop's name as they see that he is not the genius he is supposed to be. I did warn them as a friendly gesture but they didn't listen
Coincidentally the worst 20 seconds of football in my lifetime has been contested by the same two ****ing clubs.
Monaco just sold Mendy for £52m. They will sell Mbappe to Real for £100-120m. They are literally cashing out on their players like an ATM. Props to them for creating a media frenzy around their players to get maximum from those willing to pay. Insane!
Absolutely crazy market. Mendy and walker for £106m+. This is how the obscene money paid by Sky (and ultimately paid by us fans and viewers ) to premiership clubs get distributed across Europe. I wonder whether there is an agreement amongst continental clubs that they will charge a premium if the bidder is English. Look at the prices charged to juventus or Bayern,
Not hard to imagine when you see the difference in income between the leagues. Sky have done very well to push the PL as a world wide commodity, we are just paying the price of all the sponsorship it has brought to the clubs.
Doesn't need to be an agreement - English clubs simply can and will pay that much. Five English clubs in the top ten for revenue, with even Liverpool earning more than Juve. If an English club is interested then everyone knows that club will be willing to pay much more to seal the deal. Although Juve isn't a particularly good example imo - £75m for Higuain and they paid a record fee for a GK which took 16 years for City to break. They pay through the nose about as much as the English clubs, they just tend to go into the market less frequently as they have less money than many of our lot.
Sure. The foreign clubs are fully aware of how loaded the english clubs are. Premiership clubs just go out and get their man (and their budgets are massive).
Sanchez. Wenger keeps saying they are definitely NOT selling him this season. But that player has only a year left on his contract. They are willing to let him go free in a years time, costing them a potential £50m? And next summer they will have no say where the player goes. United or Chelsea even. My view is that they will probably sell him at the end of August (this summer 2017!) to a foreign club. Despite what Wenger is saying.
The player is obviously done with the club but Wenger is adamant. How they allowed him to run down his contract is beyond me. Wenger is a genius, I guess!
