    I see a local Blackburn journo was denouncing city for our pursuit of Rhodes based on our present cash rich situation and a disrespect for Blackburn Rovers.
    This wouldn't by any chance be the same Blackburn Rovers which went from being a third rate club trading on past glories playing in a **** heap of a ' stadium' in front of sub 7,000 crowds to premier league champions by virtue of being bankrolled by tax dodging exile ' uncle ' Jack Walker , allowing them to Hoover up any up and coming player by chucking money at them ?

    Shame that it's dead and buried, would have liked to have Rhodes here as I think he would have slotted in seamlessly. Lets hope he will sign tomorrow TigerDan!

    Do you think we'll honestly go back for him? I really rate him and as I said love the fact he is British and would add to our already strong core of british talent. Can only be good for cohesion and the like.

    Following the death of Jack Walker, Blackburn reverted to type...A provincial club....Rhodes will be the forgotten man of football in a few years time....One of a players who's career will fade away and never to play in the top league....
