Predict the outcome for the rest of the season for the relegation battling teams. Im usually optimistic but even I'll admit its looking likely that we're going to be relegated. Middlesborough; Arsenal H = D Bournemouth A = L Sunderland H = W Man City H = L Chelsea A = L Southampton H = L Liverpool A = L Points Total = 28 R Sunderland; West Ham H = W Arsenal A = L Bournemouth H = D Hull A = L Swansea H = L Chelsea A = L Points Total = 24 R Swansea City; Watford A = W Stoke H = W Man U A = L Everton H = L Sunderland A = W WBA H = L Points Total = 37 Hull Stoke A = L Watford H = W Southampton A =L Sunderland H = W Crystal Palace A = L Tottenham H =L Points total = 36 R Crystal Palace; Leicester H = L Liverpool A = L Tottenham H = L Burnley H = W Man City A = L Hull H = W Man U A = D Point Total = 41
Agree with all the above. Apart from us winning at Watford, against Stoke or Sunderland. (am 'glass half full' kinda guy after West Ham)
If those predictions are going right by the time it comes to Hull v Palace then that one has draw written all over it. Thats not a good fixture for your side and I think you will need to ideally overtake Hull before then. If Palace are safe id say Hull may even win. If a draw suits both then I think theres a big chance a draw it will be.
I don't see us beating Watford or Stoke, maybe Sunderland and WBA, which means 34 points max, as for Hull I don't see them beating Watford, but a draw is likely, as well as a draw against Southampton, which would give them 34 points, and that means it will come down to goal difference, our goal difference is just 1 goal better than Hull!!.........
Seeing as he's Welsh, anyone else think Pulis might do us a favour on the last day if we need the 3 points?
I think we are already down and we shot our bolt with the 4 games before the spurs match.....I hope I'm wrong but we need a change of fortune for that to happen...COYS
What if we were playing Cardiff on last day and all they needed was a point. Every swans player would put in a champions league winning performance. So my answer is No!
No need to say sorr The writing was on the wall when Palace went to Chelsea and won and then beat Arsenal. There is no fight left in us all the players are demotivated. I always said are there three worse teams than us well not now. Its between us and Hull and fate has thrown us together again we beat them in league two to keep us in the football league and now they will return the favour and set our fate and downward spiral to who knows where. I really do hope I am wrong.
To close to call , it will be Boro and Sunderland for sure . We can play well and still go down . Our chances lie with us playing well .....and Hull not .
We are down, unless by some miracle Hull actually decide to lose games. That is our only hope & it`ll be a non-existent one. Our club is now rotten to the core and we don`t deserve anything thanks to the lying tvvats that were and are now in charge. Lying barstewards the lot of them. We are the proverbial basket case and the filth that is Jenkins, Morgan, Dineen & JVZ need standing against a wall and bang bang bang please log in to view this image
That is right we can win games and still go down, There was a great article on last nights post giving the chances and strengths of both swans an hull in the remaining games......The EP reckon it is a close call but Hull have the slight edge over us in staying up according to them (don't forget the EP is made with Wales in Cardiff)........I hope the players read it and put in a realistic fight at least. I don't care if certain players want to leave at the end of the season they should give their all after all the support the fans have given them and try and save us.....No fan would complain if we saw them all giving 100% and we don't make it but if we go down with a whimper then that is unforgivable.....If we can win 4 remaining games I think we can scrape across the line......Don't worry about what Hull does, we have no control over them but there is no way they will win all their remaining games......We have seen Sunderland do it before so why cant we......COYS.....
At the end of the day we are only two points behind, look at Palace same team but suddenly they beat Chelsea and Arsenal. The problem I have is we are so inconsistant since the start of the season Hull have had a bare bones squad but they have pulled together and made it work. We beat Liverpool away and then surrender to a very poor West Ham I just dont get it
Very disappointed from the last few games, I did not expect to beat Bournemouth and Hull, but I did expect to beat Boro and get a point at West Ham. The bonus would have been holding on against Spurs but just not to be. I thought we may have a 30% chance at least but having read this page not feeling even that. I think we need to up our game and Hull to have a few injuries for us to have a chance. Just not thinking Clement has the tactics to beat other teams, we have been weakened by injuries to a poor squad and he has been sussed out. Not a great combination!
Dire Straits aye! Money for nothing and chicks for free, that's the problem with players these days..............
