Interesting read, its more the names he omits that tell the story though. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/rafa-benitez-man-demand-dublin-13352369 When discussing keepers no mention of Krul or Darlow only Rob Elliot and again when discussing CB's no mention of Mbemba. Keepers I'm not to fussed about, all reasonable without being worldbeaters but Chancel I'd want to keep, know everyone raves about Clark but IMHO he's a bang average, lower half EPL CB and will never be better than what he is. Lacselles and Mbemba both have time on their side to develop and Chancel was our best CB last time out in the EPL.
Feel a bit sorry for Darlow but shows how ruthless Rafa is. Also would appear that Clark is the starter at CB and Lascelles is competing with Lejeune. ) A bit worrying that he mentioned McCarthy then said we have lots of quality now - well not in CM we don't. To me CM is our main priority as 1) we have no back ups and 2) Hayden/Shelvey are not strong enough to be a PL central midfield pairing.
Pray form Bemba? Is this some new religious requirement before you're allowed to pray now? Submit some type of application form?
Seemed to be suggesting 'keeper and striker are next priorities in something I read Wondering if he's waiting to see how the likes of De Jong and Saivet do in pre season before addressing midfield?
I'd hope we retain Mbemba. I think he is better than Clark and Lascelles. I don't know about the other lad as I have only seen him fleetingly in Spain (did look very good)
