Need a win at Birmingham next Saturday. That could be a better opportunity to get 3 points than Wigan at home, judging on Birmingham's form and our away / home performances.

Many thanks, decent highlights. Washington looked like he grazed the post early on, if that had gone in it would have been a different game. Who was it that put him though?, great pass.

Thanks a lot for posting. Away at the moment so it means a lot to see the goals.

Perch stood off his man for both goals. The second is a clear example why Smithies is not a PL quality keeper. A shot in the middle of the goal which he should (in my mind) have easily saved and it goes under his body for the winner.

Really? Watch it again...ball didn't go under him as you say....he was pretty much at full stretch and ball was in the corner...

Yes, I blame Perch for both goals as he initially stood off his man both times. I thought Smithies should have made better attempts to save both. The first one he didn't even move. The second one a top class keeper would have easily saved.

Ned and Perch were both late with challenges for the first goal, don't see Perch in particular fault for the second.

His presence on the pitch makes the rest of them question why they worked so hard only to be left with a teammate of such ineptitude, driving them to a spiral of self-loathing and despondency. You can clearly see Onuoha questioning if he sinned in a past life as the second goes in.

We were outclassed by a good side in the first half. We improved in the second half with fans' favourite Mackie off the pitch, but didn't really deserve anything from the game. What's the point of playing Manning at left back?

I don't agree we didn't deserve anything from that game.

Penalty and handball. Refs aren't allowed sicks or pets on the field these days. Stevie Wonder would have given those.

Should've got something from the game, but how many times have we said that this season. Perch is a ****ing joke of a player, and I've totally had it with Luongo. The ****ing useless prick is never ever gonna score a goal. I don't want to see either of them in the hoops again, they are costing us games along with Ollie's tactics. It's time to give Goss his head, and see what he can do in the holding role !

Wasn't at game so thanks for all opinions.
I see their manager, somewhat unusually, siad that we were good for the draw. Generous but easy to be so with the three points in the bag.
Worried about Wigan. Bit of a bogie team for us but then we did beat them in that semi!

But they still think there are five teams worse than us. Thankfully.

I do think we'll be ok but check out our run-in across April and May. We desperately need a buffer going into that.

Good to hear good things about Smith (had my doubts about him, if I'm honest, but sounds like he and Conor could make a good pairing if given enough time together). Also good for Freeman to have an impact and get a goal (from outside the box too; we need that ability to make defences uncertain), he'll have gained a lot of confidence from that. Questionable tactics again from Holloway for first half; but credit to him for manning up and changing it back to a formation the team understood for the second half. Ned worries me; we still don't have that solid pairing of centrebacks that we so need in our defence - we could have some very good wing play, but need a solid centre pairing at the back - has to be sorted out in the summer!
