I reckon that one could have been an accident that he took advantage of, as it came off our defender...Sylla's was clearly intentionally handball to try and score a goal.
When running after the ball why put your hands on the guy next to you at all? It just gives a reason for the man to go down for a foul...so annoying but hard at speed I guess.
How does Tom Cairney not get sent off for that push in the chest, surely violent conduct and a straight red!
Ollie probably cost us 2 points today by subbing Sylla. Removing him meant most of attempted clearances out of defence just came straight back at us changing the pressure on us from heavy to overwhelming. We were giving the ball away far too much with inaccurate balls from the back anyway.
You guys seem to be getting a touch of our Canadian chill as I see quite a few matches postponed in the south with frozen pitches, including Charlton Athletic, Leyton Orient and Southend.
signs of improvement. not losing games when a few weeks ago we possibly would have done. Holloway seems to have galvanised the team - but it is still work in progress.
Reluctantly take a point. It was much tougher than Reading and their goal was slightly fortuitous (the fact that the shot went at Martin). Well earnt and well fought with good effort and concentration until the end. The ref was a bit of a knob though.
