IT IS NOW LOOKING LIKE the top 6 will be from :- 1 Newcastle 2 Brighton ________________ 3 Huddersfield 4 Leeds 5 Reading 6 Sheff Wed 7 Fulham and the bottom 6 from ;- 18 Burton 19 Nottm Forest 20 Wolves 21 Bristol City 22 Blackburn 23 Wigan ______________ 24 Rotherham In mid week Fulham, Blackburn and Wolves get parity, (Wolves will still be 1 game in hand). FULHAM with a win will do themselves and US a very BIG favour, and pretty much put paid to PNE hopes of a top 6? A Fulham win will simply put Blackburn on a par with us. WOLVES out of sorts recently can overcome Brentford who are now in the twilight zone and can neither get top 6 or relegated, so 7 might become 6 as they still have a game in after Tuesday before Saturday kick off of course we will be knowing our fate! v Huddersfield
The top 6 yeah id say 6 from those 7. Id agree the relegated 3 are likely from those 7 but there are others above that who still need wins and points. I reckon 52 will guarantee safety. 50 and your sweating on survival. Think this is all set up for last day drama.
This time last year the target figure was around 51-52 and ended up 41 pts! that is because there was a few more than this year bottom playing each other.... so wouldn't disagree with that guesstimate which is usually safe on past results. they are certainly not getting much luck at the moment, but 44 pts 2 wins against 2 losses City and Blackburn might be just safe enough ..after Tuesday it will be a little clearer

Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has called off striker Gustav Engvall's loan move to Swedish side Djurgardens after Milan Djuric was ruled out for up to six weeks after a hernia operation. Goalkeeper Fabian Giefer (eye) could come back in, but Frankie Fielding kept a clean sheet in the win over Wigan. Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner has no new injury or suspension concerns. The Terriers will close the gap on second-placed Brighton to three points if they win at Ashton Gate. wouldn't it be nice to be party pooopers Match facts Bristol City have scored in each of their last 10 home league games against Huddersfield, a run stretching back to 1989. THEY NEED TO ENSURE IT IS 1 more than them or at least the same! Elias Kachunga and Nahki Wells were on target for the Terriers as they came out 2-1 winners in the reverse fixture in December. Huddersfield have allowed their opponents just 341 shots in total in the Championship this season; fewer than any other team. Huddersfield Town have scored just five goals in their last five league games (one in each match) and all five goals have come from different players. After winning six of their first 11 Championship games this season, Bristol City have since collected just four wins in their last 26 games in the competition. The Robins have won just six points from their last nine Championship home matches (W1 D3 L5).
What a difference a year makes... Kodjia was good wasn't he? And our no 9 from last year was excellent... I wonder what ever happened to him?
I never had a perm, but did have hair 18" long tried pony tails, including a plait! experimented with a beard longest of about 5 attempts was about 8 months... black, almost, hair but bright red side burns about 2" (along with some black)
WELL 85 mins and I bet we lose 5-4 WE DIDNT and well done City and goal of the season from Flint! weekend results ______ well they could have been a bit better, ROTHERHAM wrote them off a couple games ago .. but now they are "down" they could be influential in a couple of results! WIGAN, only game with bottom teams is Rotherham, rest against teams higher than 15th. BLACKBURN, almost won, and we have to them and PNE. BURTON,Clough was a little subdued in his interview, at one point were on their way WE have BRENTFORD to thank and PLAY! FLOREST like Wolves my 2 to move up and leave a bottom 5 good result v Derby WOLVES already flying the coop BIRMINGHAM a good point v Newcastle will be hovering above the mix adding IPSWICH to the endangered list ... QPR ( 50 pts ) and up need 1 more win (53 points ) to be safe, 9 teams on 45 or less with that 5 point gap in the mix
Wigan and Millers gone in my view Rovers were a shade unlucky not to win but 93rd minute equalisers are such a bitch, this OAP found his inner Victor Meldrew flicking V's after the goal went in. We have to play the Trees and you in succession depending on how we go against the Trees will determine how we go against you. If we beat the Trees play offs still in view
I'd agree with that. Barring a miracle for Wigan to escape the drop, it's perm one final relegation place from many teams including Ipswich and Brum.
