This is football, not show business. I couldn't give a stuff how the manager comes across in interviews, and I am at a loss as to how you feel able to assess the character and personality of a man you have never met from watching him being interviewed in a language that is not his own.
If you sit through his pre match interviews he still has to use the interpreter at times so we should cut him some slack.
Agree to disagree, but from going to games and speaking to people, he has been up against it from the start. If he came across better, there would be less hate against him. He doesn't even clap the away fans as he walks past. Btw think you're mistaking what I'm saying. In no way am I judging against him, it's just what I've witnessed home and away chatting to fans.
Not aiming this at you, but Saints fans are fairly typical of football fans in general in that large numbers of them are ignorant, prejudiced, and wouldn't know a good manager if he bit them on the arse.
Hate! That's a bit strong what has he done to deserve hate? More than not clapping the fans I hope, he might just have more important things on his mind like sorting the team out.
I think Os is right though, sadly. If he was more like WGS he'd feel more love (unless it crosses the line to "thinks he's too clever"). Essentially you almost can't win.
Yeah, this is what I'm trying to say. There has been "puel out" talk pretty much since day one. Which is rare even for football fans. Basically Puel has a tough old job on his hands even if we were winning!
I never said it did! I'm just saying what I've witnessed, and how the fans feel. You lot get so defensive about saints . It does make me chuckle. I'm just pointing stuff out, but being accused of holding these opinions myself! You guys don't need to defend the club against me, I see both sides.
I didn't say you held that opinion, I just said it isn't right... makes me laugh. You lot get so defensive about things you post. I see dead people both sides too ....
