I put out this topic last year and received a good reception. Among other things, I predicted Fulham would end up 12th in the league. Happily I was wrong, but I also predicted Dempsey would lead the team in scoring. So here are a few topics to consider: End of season League position. Stand-out player. Top scorer. Time to Retire. Fulham's manager in 2013 Other Anyone care to prognosticate on a few key points? League Place: 8th again after a shorter run in the Euro Cup Stand-out Player: This will be the year of Moussa Dembele Top Scorer: Bobby Zamora Time to retire: Andrew Johnson Next Manager: Robbie Savage (for his unbelievable hair) Other: I think we'll see the decline of Danny Murphy and the ascendency of Steve Sidwell, who will become the team's de facto leader before the end of the year.
End of season League position - 10th, again with a shorter run in the Europa Stand-out player - I reckon Dembele too Top scorer - Can't see past Bobby or Dempsey Time to Retire - Danny Murphy. Sorry. Fulham's manager in 2013 - Rafa Benitez (for a laugh) Other - I think we'll start to see a bit more variance in our centre-back pairing, with Senderos and maybe Burn getting more starts.
End of season League position - 12th, Last 8 in Europa League Stand-out player - Zamora Top scorer - Zamora if he avoids injury Time to Retire - Danny Murphy Fulham's manager in 2013 - Danny Murphy?? Other - I think this year we will get a good run in the FA Cup and Briggs will take off
End of season League position - 7th, Good run in Europa League (and hopefully some nice places to visit!) Stand-out player - One of the young players... Top scorer - Zamora Time to Retire - Danny Murphy Fulham's manager in 2013 - Ray Lewington Other - I think this year we will get a good run in the FA Cup and Briggs will take off
Messi says he is happy at Fulham & Rooney begs Fergie to let him join his old pal Ronaldo at the Cottage.
End of season League position. 10th Good europa run (last 8/last 16) Stand-out player. Brede Hangeland (best CB in the league apart from kompany and vidic) Top scorer. Zamora Time to Retire. Schwarzer (should forget about loaning/selling stockdale) Fulham's manager in 2013 Mark Hughes (this 'ambitious' manager will be begging for his job back when he finds no offers have been made for his services) Other. Frei will be a player to look out for
Here's my four penneth worth - prognasticate! Nice word of the day Demps! End of season League position. 7th and last 4 of Europa League Stand-out player. Briggs Top scorer. Zamora Time to Retire. Schwarzer Fulham's manager in 2013 - Jol Other - MAF will unveil a statue outside the Hammy end of Hugh Grant in October.
Here we go: End of season League position - 9th, Last 8 of Europa league, FA Cup Semi final, League Cup winners (hey, you gotta be optimistic) Stand-out player. JA Riise Top scorer. Zamora Time to Retire. Schwarzer Fulham's manager in 2013 - Make way for the triumphant return of Lawrie Sanchez - or perhaps just Martin Jol Other One way or another I believe Fulham will qualify for the Europa League again next year.
season League position - 10th -first round knock outs- FA Quarter final- League cup runners up Stand-out player- Briggs Top scorer- Zamora Time to Retire- Schwarzer Fulham's manager in 2013- im gonna say ME ive got a very good Football manager 2011 Résumé. won the Treble and hall of fame Other- i think this year we are gonna see the building blocks for a really good time in the future, Mr Jol started the Spuds and now look here comes the REAL whites,
League position: 10th or thereabouts as Europa fatigue/distraction stops us from punching above our financial weight. Stand out player: Duff in two or three spells lengthy spells, but with other spells where he is quiet or rested for a number of games Top scorer: Bobby (assuming we don't sign someone new) Time to retire: Schwarzer. We'll also see less of Etuhu in the starting eleven Fulham's manager for 2013: Jol Other: Frei and Briggs make increased number of appearances on the fringes of the squad, Senderos replaces Hughes as Hangeland's most frequent partner in the centre of defence Al Fayed unveils a statue of the Chuckle Brothers in a bid to open up a new line of revenue for the club
