At times I think Pompey are overplaying it and trying to be too cute when simpler plays might get better results. Stevens did well until the finish there.
We seem quite reluctant to cross the ball and hold off for a while. When the cross came in it was just behind the Pompey player so nothing came of it.
Doyle crossed and it goes right across the box. Bennet gets a chance at a cross and it's out for a corner.

Bennett fails to play Naismith and loses the ball but Rose wins it back and had a longshot which misses.

These were evenly matched team with Pompey looking the more accomplished going forward but lacking a cutting edge while Plymouth were very hard to break down and took their chance when it came. It's a fair result.
