    Being realistic in our predicament:

    James McCarthy – a player I really like, out of favour at Everton and since we’re ridiculously light on the ground in midfield because Catts, Kirchoff & Rowell are injured 90% of the time I reckon he’d be a good fit.

    If I could choose any player in the PL:

    Laurent Koscielny – we badly need a CB IMO as I don’t think Papy is up to it (though has improved more recently). Ball playing CB and chips in with a goal now and again.


    Could have named plenty like Hazard, Aguero etc. etc. etc but went for something a bit different.

    Because the lad's a ****ing weapon, perfect striker.

    The fact we have Zlatan and I'd still choose him shows how much I rate him.

    If it was down to what we needed, probably Alderweireld from Spurs, but that's boring.

    I'd be tempted to go for De Bruyne. Great player and a great attitude to go with it. He can set them up and Defoe can knock them in.
