    Bluebird in peace

Putting all the East, West Who's best? rubbish aside for a second.
How are you guys feeling about the Forest double header?

You've both hit form at a good time so I was just wondering how you think it'll pan out.

As for us...I think either leg will be a lottery but if we don't pull our fingers out...we'll have 3 trips to the South Coast next year.

Well, if we hit our form I believe we will go through but there are so many intangibles that come into the equation. Nerves, the run of the ball, officials's decisions are just some of the factors that inevitably will affect results.

I honestly think that the Swans' best is good enough to win promotion but producing it on the day is another matter. No matter what the outcome I will be happy if we give it our best shot. If we then get beaten so be it and good luck to the winners.

    Cheers Ivor. Appreciate your answer.

I totally agree with intangibles statement. Having seen all 4 sides home and away this year I think that, on their day, and despite our last 2 performances, any one of us is capable of getting a result against either of the others but as you say, producing it on the day is what ultimately counts. I just hope one of those intangibles, officials especially, doesn't determine the outcome.
I'm looking forward to all 4 games (hopefully 5) but no doubt the nerves will inevitably kick in Friday morning.

What price a Cardiff v Swansea final? :)

Anyway, all the best v Forest guys. <ok>

I think all four teams will fancy themselves this year. Hopefully this will mean some of the most exciting play-off games yet! If we're going to lose, at least do it in style!

Agree with H - I'd love to see you lot dump Forest out before the Wembley showdown, whoever you might then meet in it.

They were so cock sure against Blackpool at this stage last year, they couldn't see it coming. Having said that, we thought much the same at Wembley and got done by Holloway's lot for our troubles - I hope we've learnt something from that.

For us, getting past Reading wont be easy by any means but I can definitely see the outcome of these semis resulting in an all-Welsh final.

Should that be the case, a Welsh team will be competing at the highest level next year, and that can only be good for the region as a whole. Should we lose to you in the final, I have no problem at all in saying that I'd like you to stay there and us join you the next season.

Definitely the very best of luck against Forest. <ok>

The Swans are healthy & spirited with Borini fitting into a form club , barely missing an auto spot . Sorry Buck , were no underdog club this playoff I'm afraid . I be the first to say " I' m surprised " if were not the third team going up . I will take a special effort to stop us IMO . P.S. I had a " semi " a decade ago ........... I think !

Have to admit your guys looked impressive in that first half and soaked up the inevitable pressure too in second. Anyone who questioned your away form has just got their answer.

Just hope Borini's injury is not too serious for you.

    Well done Swans. <applause>

Great to hear from some decent Bluebird's fans. Thanks for comments and good wishes, guys.

In the same spirit I sincerely wish you good luck in your own quest. If Fate decrees that we both get to Wembley we can revise the good wishes then!

Very impressive first half and somewhat unlucky to be sent off. Your keeper though - he's gathered you some points this season, and that save from Earnie was something else. Had you won, I think it would be pretty much over. Still lots to play for, but I think it's going to be a penalty shoot out. And you know what. I think that's what'll happen again at Cardiff and we'll go our second home for the fourth time in three years.
One thing's for certain though. I've decided that if it's a Swansea v Cardiff final I won't be going this year. My heart, wallet and ten year old won't be able to take
If this does happen, I really hope everyone behaves, because I don't want whoever goes up to be remembered for the nastiness that I fear will take place.

Well I thought it was all over, when we lost Taylor after 50 seconds, but hell what a fight we put up the whole game with ten men, I am so proud of the lads, that words fail me. We looked like we still had 11 players on the pitch right up to the half time whistle, well done boys I would have taken a draw before a ball was kicked, but with ten men, what a game and what a result, let's regroup for fortress Liberty, and give our boys the extra man on Monday, that they deserve, lets raise the roof of the Liberty, because these boys deserve it!.....................

So is it Glam or Morgue for Cardiff tomorrow . I think glam & I'll explain it in one word " Bellamy " . The thought of a Cardiff vs Swansea final is beyond amazing & a bit short of reality , but not so much . Good luck to you Bluebirds tomorrow although Bellamy will probably take luck put of the equation I fear . My prediction , Bellamy 2 - Reading 1 .

Didn't see your game last night guys, just the result when I got back home - and what a result that was! <ok>

I hadn't even noticed that you lost a player so early until I read the report, so that made it doubly impressive.<applause>

Just finish the job off on Monday please, and we'll do our best to make it an all-Welsh Wembley clash - that would really set the cat amongst the pigeons for the Xenophobes - we'd never hear the end of it...........:emoticon-0183-swear:emoticon-0183-swear
