If Huddersfield hadn't won yesterday then there would have been no Yorkshire teams in PL. Also only 3 Midlands teams and nothing south west of Bournemouth.
Leicester fans have it quite nice, most of the teams are quite near, even the furthest trips aren't really that bad
South-west of Bournemouth would technically be in the sea though.... meh, it's always been like this, apart from the shower of **** down the road, there hasn't been anything close to us in the Prem for years.
Should just join the Scottish League - Local derbies against Berwick, Hibs, Hearts, Edinburgh City, Annan Athletic and Queen of the South. Furthest trip - Inverness Caledonian Thistle or Ross County. Actually, **** it. A bunch of pub teams.
Aye but the Premier League should impose some sort of handicap on their fans for having it so easy....any ideas?
We need Brighton, Bournemouth and Palace to go down and the mackems, boro and Hull to come up. That would shift the balance a bit.
Does that mean we now have to get a Warm Glow when the Mackems are on the rise again. I am sure people would rather just pay the extra transport costs.
As a Melton Mowbray dweller we have our own special forces response unit on standby whenever there's credible intelligence that those Leicester chappies are planning a visit. I know it's harsh but they don't wear Barbour jackets, mustard cords and have Springer Spaniels like the rest of us country dwellers.
