You are talking out of your arse as usual and you know it... There is only one Qur'an to this day, 7 ways to recite it but the meanings are the same so good try... Anyways you got the evidence yet?
You perhaps think there's only one version because that's as far as you can count, so can't comprehend the others. You're clearly not that bright.
any excuse for jihad. so, in other words, it was passed down verbally and then codified by different people decades later, just like the bible was.
Really what excuse would that be for Jihad? I assume you Jihad as religious war at the same time... Again nothing like bible as it didnt exist during the time of Jesus (as)... Qur'an existed in written form as well not with one person, nor was a decision made by few people that this is the Qur'an it was verified by the muslims that it was the actual Qur’an.
Thanks, Am I also correct that the Koran includes knowledge of all the sciences, astronomy, oceanography and many other scientific statements? My only question being if Muhammed was illiterate how could he had comprehended all that.
No not all knowledge, only what was revealed to him by god as message to human kind...he was known as unlettered.
you are right, the Bible didn't exist in Jesus' time but the Koran didn't exist in Mohammed's time either, it was verbally passed down in different dialects and then codified decades after his death.
First of you need to learn what Qur'an actually is i think...you are going round in circles..nor was it decades later compiled. You keep saying codified, what do you mean by codified?
Some yes as it has some messages from Jesus (as) and others distorted. All islam means is submitting your will to god, its an arabic word but message has been revealed to other prophets before and the last and final one we belive is the Qur'an.
If I wanted to pretend that god had spoken to me, it wouldn't be that hard in theory... I reckon there'd be a lot of knocking on my door happening, and I do like my peace and quiet, so I think I'll not bother.
The Quran should have similarities to the Bible. It's essentially a sequel, by it's own admission. That's not a legitimate criticism. It's like pointing out that Mormonism takes things from Christianity.
It's not the sole domain, and I said as much further up the post when I listed some of the people of faith who are scientists and engineers, but to list them all would be ridiculous. For the last time, I'm not being smart - I appreciate there are many, many people of faith throughout history and now (yes, including many Muslim scholars and astronomers) who are far, far more intelligent than I.
