just watched the man utd game against crawley town and what a good game it was and don,t get me wrong i think crawley had a good chance to get a replay.But my question is are man utd going to get fined by the f.a for putting out a weakened team just like blackpool did ealier this season or are the f.a just going to suck up to fergie just like everyone else does?

No-one should get fined. It's a squad game and managers should be allowed to utilise their squad. The FA are just being ridiculous.

I agree with Berb, No one should get fined. But if teams like blackpool who don't have the kind of income of United are getting fined, depite the fact that they almost got a result out of the game then Yes United should be fined.

It's bollocks, I'd like to know who determines what a 'weak team' is... How can you analyse a player if you don't work with them daily... And what is the point of having a squad capacity if you can't actually use the players without being fined!!! The FA are out of control if ye ask me. The game is going to pot I think it's going to change dramatically in the next 5 years with the new rules on spending what you earn I think tickets prices will soar and merchandise will cost a lot more... The average person is being priced out of the game the fans who made the clubs what they are today. Without fans there wouldn't even be a sport...

 

PS Just realised how I went from the fining of teams to my FA rant... Opps! Just get carried away sometimes...

Why do people get confused with the Premier League rules and the FA cup?

 

It's a good point which I completely missed but, it just makes the Prem league rule pointless... If your allowed to do it in the cup which some small teams might do to avoid tiring key players for their league matches then why aren't you allowed to do it in the league when you think the team needs a rest...?

 

The only reason it was a weakened team was because Carrick,Anderson and Bebe and Gibson were playing,if you are going to fine Baconface for anything its for wasting millions on ****.
