The Yorkshire Post's strap line is 'Yorkshire's National Newspaper', though it's mainly sold in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire (it's not really a national, but it's more than your average local paper).
Decent article but it would've been better if things such as the stolen ASI money and the airco arena fiasco were also mentioned.
Is that what 'we' know'? Two in the front and two in the rear of a car usually totals four. Two were oiled, but by no stretch of the imagination were they pissed, and two were sober. As the crip in the orthopaedic shoes often says "I stand to be corrected" but immature flicking of the fingers is in a whole different league to dangerous driving. There's NO excuse for cutting in front a car at speed and slamming your brakes on, none whatsoever. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Great article. Though the thread on Twitter from where the article is shared is full of some really stupid comments.
First up, Steve described himself as pissed. Second up, he'd only mentioned 2 plus his daughter who was driving. So there were 3 people not driving, one of which you'da thought was capable of recording this hilarous exchange of "bantz"? Got a link to the NSFW video for us? Like I said, we don't have the full story. We have half of it. Not that Im condoning Ehabs alleged actions. Both cars seem to have contained cockwombles. Top tip kids: Don't **** about on the roads. It's not big, and its not clever. Also, if you do act like a knob, don't go crying online about it when it escalates. Or, threatening people, especially on Twitter when you've used your real name. NB: That is generic and general advice, not aimed at any specific cockwombles who may be reading this.
I was in the car and sober, but had no intention of filming the moron that is Ehab as my phone usually stays in my pocket. Rico initially posted on Twitter that Ehab raised his middle finger when he first passed us and he commented "fair play to Ehab." "Bantz", as you call it, in my book doesn't encompass moronic driving. Again, there's NO excuse for dangerous driving. That is all. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Just to be 100% clear, again, I have not suggested that her driving was moronic, or indeed dangerous. I was referring to the grown man acting like a cockwomble. Which would have been more than a little distracting I imagine, especially given the description of whats on the video. Lets just agree that it's great you're all ok. I've seen too many RTCs and know how easily and quickly they can go bad.
People have died on the roads as a result of dangerous driving. People have not died on the roads as a result of flicking the Vs. Is this thread a rehearsal space for the "defend the indefensible" round on Fighting Talk? Assuming the event actually happened (no evidence to suggest it didn't) there is some proper stupidity being shown here.
Think its called an escalation. Its like barging people in a pub, do it to the wrong person and... But cos its Ehab its ok. Bit like these ****er PL fans who shout abuse at a player then squeal like **** and want charges pressed if a player calls them a **** back.
Nope, it is not. It was simply an attempt to point out that 1. We've got just one side of the story and 2. Either way, acting like a **** in a car is asking for trouble, and not just because the other **** might brake hard, but because you acting like a **** in a car only needs to distract the driver for a second and its game over. Feel free to carry on with your tedious paranoia.
There were four of us in the car, and I agree we were very childish flicking the V's at Ehab, like no one has ever don ever that at a fans coach on the motorway, and as I said we laughed when he passed us flipping the bird, that should have been the end of it because he was really motoring as he passed, but stamping on the brakes after swerving in front of us? I think that's a bit extreme and if anyone doesn't think that, then they are a bigger **** than I can ever be
