It looked lovely when driving through. That's the problem, the original plan was beach, then into town and meal etc. Which is still a good plan so has won out. Next year though we can hopefully see a game pre planned.

To think I used to do a lot of threads on here, this board is quiet without me to be fair, but I won't do threads every day though.

If they got their shirts recently enough to have Zlatan on the back it is unlikely that have the spare dosh to just go and get another just weeks later when Pogba arrived. The kid with Rooneys shirt is the worst player award
Rooney piece for you - http://www.skysports.com/football/n...or-wayne-rooney-since-he-broke-england-record
The quote you quoted was something you did not know the context of. It helps if you 'got' the joke between myself and Swarbs before wading in on a four week old post and trying to set me right in some way. Didn't read the Rooney article.
Not at all, I've been back three weeks. Regarding Rooney, I fully accept he is nowhere near the player he was. Nor is he THE problem. You and Cytrax and one or two others seem to think that he is the reason for all United's ills and the solution is drop him and it'll be like a magic wand. It won't. Dropping Rooney and keeping the same formation will just mean that Fellaini and Pogba operate just where they are now. So stick Mata where Rooney is and you have just the same issue. Having Rooney in the team does not make other players play poorly, regardless of what you think. They play poorly because they play poorly. I personally wouldn't play him at the moment but not because I'm part of the drop Rooney at all costs brigade but because I believe Pogba is better suited to a 4 3 3. In this formation there is no No.10 and so Rooney doesn't get a kick. Bear in mind though, neither does three of Mata, Lingard, Mkhitarian or Rashford.
Chief, have you been following the media lately? Or at least try and follow match day texts on bbc. The debate on Rooney has become a national phenomenon. Your post here is contradictory on many levels. First, you admit Rooney is no where near the player he was. Then you followed that up by claiming you wouldn't personally play Rooney because you believe Pogba would flourish in 4-3-3 which leaves Rooney out. So basically, you've pointed out all the facts that we've been debating all this time as your reasons why Rooney should not play but you still think we are just some mindless "we hate Rooney" crusaders?
Yes. I do. You clearly are. What you miss is that I'm not saying drop Rooney. I'm saying drop Fellaini if anything. I don't support the formation we are currently playing, you do and think that by dropping Rooney it will work. I happen to think Pogba is more suited to a three man midfield, and please don't say Rooney has been playing in midfield or that Pogba is a ten, again, because neither have been or are. As I said, clearly, a 4 3 3 has no room for a ten and so by default Rooney wouldn't play. It's not the same as saying 'drop Rooney'. Nor is saying he isn't the player he was the same as saying he is the cause of all United problems. You keep following what the press say though. They know best of course.
