And if I told you I put half my monthly pension on Town scoring their 1st goal in 5 games, in the first 15 mins.........you wouldn't believe me.....would you?!
We've got through to half time ahead. Thank christ for that. Disappointed Grant Ward is on the bench hope he gets half hour. Suppose he'll end up coming on for the Bish. Apparently we're losing the 3 v 3 in the middle. Need to up it they sound the better side.
Drinks are on westy! Amazing what happens when you dont play skuglas! Lucky escape for MM and once again it was an enforced change that has got him the result. Wait til Saturday and skuglas will be back! Mick out
Well, a change of fortune, a win at last. Will be good to get McG back, and glad Lawrence and Best are playing well. Toon Saturday...hmm! Night all.
Gotta be honest Douglas has been one of our better performers this season. 7 clean sheets in the last 11 is superb but the other end is grim. John Wark - we've messed up your binary !!!!!!!! A massive WELL DONE for Freddy getting the monkey off his back. Good lad. IF we can get Williams + McGoldrick fully fit ........... can but dream. Seriously, how the HELL are we three points off the play offs after our start!? Seriously, HOW !?!?!??! Season very much alive. Need Best to start scoring, desperately need another striker fit. * Sidenote - I listened to the radio and we got absolutely thumped! They outbattled the midfield 3.......
8 clean sheets in 12, or something like that, definitely deserves credit but yes tonight we did get stretched in midfield at times. Just got to get that right balance of defensive/creative players. Pleased for Freddie obviously, Chambers has now had two decent games on the bounce. COYB!
Well, that must have been a wet dream for McCarthorse,a scruffy win a goal each from Chambers and Sears. But as Warky has already said it only papers over the cracks. The absence of Douglas(one of our better performers this season?? Really?)didn't lead to us playing any better football and had it not been for woeful finishing from Albion and a couple of fine saves from Bart and we could have lost 3 or 4-2.We still default to lumping the ball out of defence and show very little up front. Whilst some will be happy with the 3 points which will haul us towards mid table safety/mediocrity we're unlikely to seriously trouble the playoff places and the clock continues to tick. Tick tock Mick, tick tock.
