I was trying to shout but you couldn't hear. Wanted you to put a cap on or something cos the reflection of the floodlights on your bald spot was spoiling my view!!!!

That was comfortable in the end. All of it, the entire season was a cakewalk.

Buzzing this morning! tell you what though the club as a whole have got to make a real effort next year to keep the energy high in SJP. It could be such a massive asset but when the atmosphere gets all nervous and tetchy it really translates into the pitch.

There is loads of stuff the club management could do just on a week by week basis. We have got to show intent in the transfer market and I think benitez could work at getting his team to play the crowd more at home.

We made it easy for your goals, our keeper had a mare although Gally's save has got him a move to Man C as sweeper keeper. The daft second will haunt me for years. Until the penalty thought we we still in the game.
Took me 31 years but finally seen us score at your gaff.
Weird atmosphere very flat but congrats however should have walked that league

Our pink seats make more noise than that atmosphere last night. It was ****ing shocking for a promotion game.

A lot of work to be done. Announce the new Sponsorship to replace Wonga, also the new Sleeve Sponsorship. Announce the new kit. Rafa will start work on new targets, confirm whose going/whose contracts are being renewed, Pre-season next year fixtures/timings.

I for one am excited for the window to open again, Rafa loves a bit of business and I'm sure we are in for a hectic summer!

Gan on Big lad. You just love to brag about those mincing pink seats don't you <laugh><laugh> There's almost pride there!!
Do you go to watch Sunderland fella? I mean properly... like beyond 60 mins? (Alien to most Mackems but matches last 90 minutes normally).

And I expect business to be done earlier as well. There'll be a few players casting glances at SJP from the lower end of the PL and the benches of the top clubs. That's why we needed Rafa to stay - you now get 52,000, PL football, PL money and to play for a still-young Rafa. It's a pretty alluring set up.

I feel much more positive this time going over last time. Seeing the pictures from inside the tunnels last night, you can tell this is a proper team now, not just a group of individuals. And we have a proper manager in charge who knows how to manage, which includes a whole team of backroom professionals. Sure the squad is cack, no question. The only players I can really would want to see starting for us are CC, Shelvey, Ritchie and Gayle, with question marks over Shelvey and Gayle. The rest? Not rteally good enough. But Rafa will buy and make a team. I think we will struggle in the prem of course but I think we'll survive.
