Lee may have tried to pick up at Bolton when Big Sam went to Newcastle and did not do so well (not that Sam did so well either at the Magpies). Thereafter, I think he realised that coaching was his game rather than management and is highly regarded in the game. So it would be a disappointment if we should lose him - particularly as he forms a link between the new manager and the squad. Hopefully he stays. I would add that when RG was being considered - one of the issues was over him bringing too many of his own staff because Lee and Watson was to be retained - I appreciate that was gossip - but would be logical of the club wishing to retain coaching staff who have done so well for us.
Whatever.... Clearly Sammy is the brains behind our success, and his departure (or not) is the thing that really matters. Apparently.
Yep Made the step into independent school this year and while the term times are intense, the summer holiday will be awesome
It just shows the amount of rumour that bases opinions. Before last season ended, Dave Watson was suppose to be leaving to be England's permanent goalkeeping coach. I didn't think much of that other than to remember it. I know we like to get all our personal ducks in a row, but sometimes it's just better to wait and see what happens, however annoying.
The decision about Sammy will have to wait till the height of the new manager is ascertained. Sammy's habit of cuddling the manager is untenable if he is too tall. Sammy will stay if he is chest high.
This is my fault isn't it? I said just yesterday how I thought everyone got on well here and it was better than the other forums.
It is trust me..........but we still have a few fans that like to use shall we say over zealous language. Trust me though in the main they are a good bunch and don't mean any harm........They just get a little carried away with the moment.......honest......
