I think a better question might have been how many hasn't he been removed from lately? He's bang on form.
50℅ of the bottom 6 stay up every season. Also, how many of those 23 clubs weren't in the bottom 3 when the manager got sacked?
We'll close the huge 3 point gap to 17th place and then (through far better coaching and management) steadily pick up enough points to stay up.
I think we will stay up but I am an optimist But I do think many people are getting carried away just like many of the same people did after MP had his first few games and many were saying he was a fresh of fresh air and miles ahead of SB in his tactics and team selection
<-this When people say a manager is tactically naive what they mean is he's losing too many games and they don't like it.
Lineker and the panel slated Brucie today for **** negative tactics - a leopard can't change his spots
We WILL stay up, I have not one shred of doubt. Ehab may be a total waste of oxygen but Marco and his staff would not have come here, not even for six months, if they didn't think that they could keep us up. Also I'm as certain as I can be that they're doing this for their future employers rather than their apparent current ones. There are forces at work in the background.
There is no prospective new owner pulling the strings. He new team are unknowns. They have managed in a small league at a club that is he equivalent of rangers or Celtic. They have come as no other option was cheap enough. They are here as it's a no loss situation for them. If you put rose tinted glasses on you can imagine they are secret world beaters, pinched from under the nose of top clubs. Here at the behest of a secret and new oligarch. Or... you can just see it for what it is: a cheap punt for some guys who bite your arm off for a stint in the big league. Sadly That said, it may work! But there is no more too it than meets the eye. A few smaller teams had a look and moved on recently.
Yes definitely. We're one win out of 17th with 18 games to play. We've thrown away points that would have put us over 20 points with shocking mistakes at the back and poor substitutions (West Ham, Everton, WBA, CP most recently). We have a creative new young manager and coaching staff and renewed confidence. If we keep Snodgrass, Abel stays fit, Jak stays in goal, and we add two loanees (RB, Striker) we should be fine.
Has patty really been that bad in this thread to remove him? I've seen him destroy other threads but on this one he doesn't seem so bad. Over to the experts
