Is Narcos any good?

I only ask as I've just completed two books on a similar subject, although these based on Mexican drug wars not Columbian, so I reckon I'd enjoy.

The books are Power of the Dog and The Cartel.

Both excellent. Truly great books actually, I'd recommend anyone invest a bit of time in reading them. 1100 pages between them but all gripping.

Watched the second series of Vikings on plane to Dubai (en route to India) ... now got all 3 box sets ... did you know that the film Vikings starring Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis is also based on Ragnar Lothbrok ... just a bit of trvia ... plus the theme tune to that film is the basis for the Man City chant "City City - The best team in the land - and all the world"

Don't like it, slow and boring. A lot of people do like it though.

If you're able to put up with about 70-75% of it being in Spanish then definitely give it a watch. Usually I don't like having to read subtitles while watching something but Narcos is ****ing excellent. The fella that plays Pablo is exceptional.

Started to watch it but found the subtitles a pain - may have to give it another go.

Last year watched The Sopranos (did not watch it when originally shown) and that is amazing viewing.
Tried to get in to Breaking Bad and Just call Saul but didn't enjoy either, yet Mrs G4E loved both of them.

House of Cards is up there with The Sopranos in the quality of writing and acting - if you haven't watched it you must.

GoT is the best thing on telly imo
