I don't think it would do Moyes any harm to manage in the Championship; he needs to find his confidence and reflect on how he is perceived by players. Let's see what happens, as I think Silva will stay, but a quickly appointed Moyes would be a reasonable call - except I couldn't see him taking the bullshit from Shagnasty.
Just tragic isn't it. All started by Zaha banging his daughter if you ask me. Sent him into a tailspin, the expectation at United crushed him and then he had to go to Spain just to keep an eye on the tearaway young 'un. Now he's dead. To all intents and purposes a living and breathing human, but basically dead.
Yeah he's shot to pieces, he could come manage in the A-League and I still think he'd do a terrible job. He can't cling to his Everton record for too much longer.
I'd be distraught if we got Moyes. He's a washed out dinosaur and he probably needs a year or so off to sort his head out after the debacles of ManU, RealS and Sunderland.
It's weird innit because he was so consistent at Everton, and the budget was modest (well, according to him and Kenwright). Where's his pride gone? He must have had some verve once? Maybe the devil is coming to get his due and he knows it.
I think it was a symbiotic relationship for both of them, but it turned out that Everton can thrive without him.
I don't think he'll work as a manager again. I think he's too financially stable now and has lost his drive. It happens to some, whereas others like Jose with far more money are driven by success. Moyes will end up on a tv near you, which is particularly bad news as he gave the worst press conference I ever attended.
I think he'll be back, at some point. He needs time away to reflect. Get back to basics with what worked well for him at PNE and Everton. At present, he's no use to anyone.
