MoPo getting more deluded the longer he stays at 3PL.

Spurs are the same level at Man United and Liverpool historically and bigger than Arsenal/Chelsea.

'I would love to be here for as long as possible because it's a club with history, a club that is the most popular in London, more than Arsenal and Chelsea,' he told Cadena Ser. 'I'm delighted here.'

'Tottenham is a historic club at the same level as Manchester United and Liverpool.'

He's probably been misquoted and probably meant to say "I enjoy planet Mars and I plan to win the title them Wibble Wibble". Certainly more plausible.

    A classic case.

Spurs are having a good season and pooch has done well with them. But coming out with **** like this just leaves him open to ridicule. Must be something contagious at Spurs.

Spurs are having a good season and are good to watch.

However, they are smaller than arsenal for sure. Chelsea are much more successful but at heart are not especially a big club. Traditionally at the level of Spurs with both a little bigger than west ham.

    Nowhere near Liverpool or united.

I'm enjoying seeing another team up there though tbh.

    I do believe Spurs
Traditionally, Spurs were bigger than Chelsea and players such as Greaves and Venables used Chelsea as a stepping stone to get to us. The same with West Ham where Bobby Moore begged Ron Greenwood to let him join Spurs and Martin Peters actually did.

Chelsea had a brief heyday in the late 60s and early 70s but from the early 80s spent time yo-yoing between divisions. Their current success is a very recent phenomenon brought on by Roman. Until then you could go decades without bumping into a Chelsea supporter; certainly not one that would admit to it. It was only when Hoddle and then Vialli started managing the team that a few became brave enough to admit it and then when Roman arrived so did the deluge of plastics.

I have to agree wth the comparisons with the other 3 clubs mentioned although I would add that if it's history that we're talking about then only Liverpool, out of the teams mentioned, can match us for having won a domestic honour first in 1901 and being the first British club to win a European trophy is our sole preserve.

1 win and 4 draws in 11 matches means it's 3 point lane to the 2015-16 not606 hide and seek champion <laugh>

One almost pities CFC, since he would have suffered the agonies of Hell when Chelsea got dry-humped at the Lane, this season.

On reflection, the Chelsea game has been one of our easiest, this season.
