I don't think he done much wrong today. The "elbow" was never one. The yellow card wasn't one the "stamp" on their keeper was just a centre forward going for a ball... oh and he scored the winning goal !!

Top of the league again, gayle to come back, rafa in charge.. onward and upward. Some tough games to come, but solid today from two centre backs.

Regardless - with that ref, he was an accident waiting to happen, so sensible to take him off I think.

Agree re Lascelles and Clark - thought Clark especially was immense- great reading of the game and positioning throughout

Just a pity Colback is pure gash, Diame is playing as if he is Sissoko not on the tv against a big club, Gouffran is past it, Dummett never had it, Ritchie gets frustrated at the toss of a coin and we have no bench.

We have no player that can truly make the step up to being a top half PL player

Think a lot of Leicester fans would have said that last season - not that I'm comparing our squad to theirs by any stretch

I agree he did nothing wrong to get his first booking he deserved one for the one he didn't get on the keeper though

The problem he has is that is a tactic to get him sent off everytime they see his name on the team sheet, so he needs to be cleverer or he'll never succeed.

Rafa's interview basically said he took him off to protect him

I don't think Mitro got an ounce of protection from that referee today. How fitting that he should score the winner.....how sweet <applause>

The problem with mito is people have this image of how"dirty" he is. A certain shearer got away with a lot more than what mitro has done. For me today some challenges were 80/20 a foul at worst .. which make them in my eyes not a foul.

    Clark was outstanding again tho.

Agree - Rafa essentially said he took him off to protect him from being sent off, not because of his performance. The first one was a foul, not a card - second I think did just about deserve the a yellow, but the Wolves players would have simply wound him up for the whole of the 2nd half waiting for a bite

Brilliant, problem of playing a loose cannon, just take him off, why didn't someone else think of that

I think anyone who defends him is an idiot. It was clear that Wolves planned to wind him up with early body checks and challenges on him, and he just can't ****ing help himself.

The elbow in the face was a definite yellow and was lucky to get away with that without one, and his stamp on the keeper was another yellow and he was lucky to get away with that one. Even if they weren't the worst challenges you've ever seen, he had time to stop himself and he didn't.

He is a ****ing loose cannon and his tap in doesn't make up for that. He was looking around deliberately elbowed someone in the face because he was body checked by him early on.

He should never pull on the shirt again.

He misses sitters, he doesn't bring players into the game enough, he doesn't win enough against defenders, and he, like Coloccini, is only liked by the fans because we can sing a song about him.

He's done nothing to deserve a place ahead of Murphy. Neither have scored many goals but at least Murphy is sensible and is far more effective at winning headers and bringing players into the game.

he didn't deserve his first yellow and he scored a goal

That tap in required a clever first touch as it was under his feet and was a cool finish !many would have snapped at.

He brings nothing to the board for me mate. Most of his posts don't even make sense. He's a pure troll and he just talks complete ****. He said he was going to **** off so let him be good to his word!! Its not even ''clever' trolling, it's just pathetic. I'll just put him on ignore because he spoils it for me a little so best to just treat him with the importance he deserves. Non.
