    But getting 10 minutes here and there then not in the squad for games at a time and then picked to start a match here and there is not the way to get a striker firing on all cylinders. This has been said over and over again over some of the players we have had in the past and it still continues.

    I do agree though that Murphy should have come on for him though especially with a game on Monday.

    It's like a fast bowler in cricket - you need to put miles in the legs. Get the radar working and even more so with a target man. If you have played football at any level with a tall target man type striker, they come back from injury or pre season and their timing is awful. You'd go through 3 or 4 games of pain just to get them ticking.

    Conversely, you have to ask if that type of player is right in Rafa's system because he rotates so much and you need players to come in and hit the ground running. Will probably be less of an issue in the Premier League with fewer games I guess but I would consider selling Mitrovic in the summer in all honesty.
