Having seen that we play Barnsley next Tuesday I had this feeling that I have not had much to shout about this season regarding midweek fixtures. So I took a look and was even more depressed than before. Midweek fixtures. Played 9 Won 0 Drawn 4 Lost 5. Thats 4 points from a possible 27. Saturday fixtures. Played 20 Won 14 Drawn 4 Lost 2. Thats 46 points from a possible 60. So how can Simon Grayson get the players to think it's Saturday next Tuesday?
Got to say I'm worried about Preston on Tuesday night. Grayson should be able to rotate the squad more if players are looking tired. I think it's more of a mentality thing, the players have lost so many Tuesday games that they're losing belief going into them. One result and all that will change. Hopefully Deepdale will be the venue for that.
