http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/06/29/who-is-michy-batshuayi/ Marseille have accepted a bid in the region of £33m for Belgian Striker Michy Batshuayi. He took a break from the Belgian squad yesterday to fly to London for a medical, which pissed off the Belgian coach, as they have a game tonight against the Taffs. Weird that he would leave his national squad in the middle of a tournament to fly to London for a medical though! Anyway, the piece from the Telegraph has a lot of info on him, if y'all are interested. We are also said to be lining up an improved offer for another Belgianm, midfielder Radja Naingollan, after Roma rejected a £28m bid for him last week. Sources claim that if this next bid is rejected, Conte will switch his interest to Leciester City midfielder N'Golo Kante.
I think the medical was in France.... Anyway, think we should be trying to get Kante over Naingollan anyway. He'd be cheaper, he's younger and P.L proven. No brainer surely!! Telegraph reporting on possible deal. Just hope this isn't Conte focussing on players who play in Italy. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...ws-leicester-ngolo-kante-set-to-snub-arsenal/
I like the idea of playing with 2 up front. Not many teams do it anymore and I think most aren't set up to deal with 2 strikers either. Would be nice to see Costa have a partner.
Everyone slating United with Martial now everyone is paying stupid money for unknowns, guess this is how it is now times have changed
I know, that was my first thought as well. However, Martial is relatively unknown compared with Batshuayi.
They are unknown to us. I don't watch French football, because it sucks balls, same as Spanish football, the only leagues I follow are The Premier League and Bundesliga. So if a guy plays outside one of those two leagues, unless he is at a big club that plays CL footie every year (like Barca, Real, PSG), I aint gonna have a clue who he is to be honest. International tournaments aren't **** to go on. Ask Rangers with Stephane Guivarch, and Arsenal with Giroud, who looks on fire for France at the moment, but struggles to hit a cows arse with a banjo in England. But the managers know who they are, because that's their job. Presumably they have the players scouted, and dossiers drawn up on them before they make a bid.
