There appears to be a certain amount of quaffing going on. Personally, I drank for England last night so I will probably take it easy tonight, although there is a 10 year old bottle of Tawny Port with my name on it. Whatever you are doing, take care and have a great time.
That's a loaded question.... Well last evening I had a couple of pints of Guinness.... Currently quaffing a glass of Port...... And have a bottle of Austrian Gruner Veltliner in the fridge to go with dinner tonight....
In order tomorrow: Bucks Fizz at Breakfast, Mulled Wine mid-late morning. Possibly a Carling or two before raising a glass of Chateau Neuf to the Queen, ditto during lunch, a muscadet with dessert, port with cheese and then back on the Carling.
Just opened a bottle of Cava (prosecco gives me wind), to be followed by a Sauvignon Blanc with dinner (pork terrine). My daughter's partner has promised to open the bottle of Macallan that he was given later on. Yum. Merry Christmas everyone

In truth we started on cava and then went to prosecco. Can't tell the difference. Now on Rioja. Salmon en croute soon so need to inspect the chilled whites.
Seems the Macallan gift was accompanied by special balls in which to make ice spheres. Alternatively shaped ice just won't do for malt whisky, apparently. I'll keep the board posted.
On my drinks menu for tomorrow is Sipsmith lemon drizzle gin with Prosecco and cucumber, not tried it before but it comes highly recommended. I will most likely slum it with a few beers also.
